To accomplish a romantic yet laid back look, start by applying a styling lotion on your roots, then blow dry your hair straight using a round brush. Next, use a medium barrel curling iron to curl two inch sections of hair. Tug on spirals as they as they cool to give them a loose natural quality.  Finish with a light hold hair spray.
